Melina' band, Threadneedle St, had their usual gig down in Houston playing for a céilí (traditional Irish) dance. Some group had a big all-day competition for the kids to perform for medals and awards. Then Melina et al played for the afterglow party. -- We arrived early to the hotel, so Melina and Miah went swimming in the pool. Miah had a blast! Thankfully she got so worn out that I was able to rock her to sleep in the room's office chair at bedtime! Phew.
